Goodbye, and Welcome

So, haven't you noticed that my past posts have become less and less doll related? Or craft related, for that matter. So, with ever growing realization, I have come to a conclusion that I have outgrown this blog.
My life, with the entering of middle school, has become so unbelievably different, and I have been introduced to many, many new and wonderful things. And with these growing interests, I have found myself spending less, and less time actually playing with my dolls, and spending my time doing other, more interesting things.
I suppose it had to happen some time. Now, don't get me wrong, I still enjoy crafting and designing things for my dolls. Photography has become an especially enjoyed hobby. So, here's my idea. At 9:00 am EST on Sunday May, 17 this blog will be renamed theincogconitoelephant.blogspot.com . Instead of focusing on dolls, I will focus on my life, and my thoughts on this extraordinary adventure. So, I thank you, for taking the time to glance at my blog, you have affected my life in a way that is hard to imagine. So, as I close this one chapter in my life, I welcome you into another.

Spam!

And not the meat kind

I had a pretty ridiculous spam comment in my folder today.

It was about working from home and all that stuff. The funny thing is, it was was talking to me like I was an adult. It was pretty goofed. This just tickled me. So I thought I'd share it.

I'd Rather Be Whistling In The Dark

For anyone who doesn't get that, it's a They Might Be Giants song about what you'd rather be doing.

That song pretty much fits this week. I was so unbelievably hectic. This explains my lack of a weekly post. I had a science test, a social studies project, a reading timeline, a memoir first draft, a math quiz, and math benchmarks. Not your average week. Not to mention my brothers got out of school on Wednesday, making me feel so much more agitated. What could I have been doing this week? I could've doodled, drafted, written poetry, sewn, and read. I hardly got to do anything but projects. This might have something to do with my horrible procrastination.*winks*
One week till spring break! And about two weeks to my birthday! So here's to a stress-free next week!*clinks glass, accidentally spilling my grape juice it all over your shirt*. Whoops. Heheheheheheheheh

Celebration/Cat photo!

As some of you already know, I recently reached 1250 page views! Woohoo! It doesn't seem like much, but it's kind of weird to think that if you double the amount of kids in school (around 600 or so) that's how many people have taken the time to glance at my blog. Hugs and waffles to you all! I'm also happy to say that there has been readers from over 10 different countries (I should probably add a translator...)!

So, thank you too my readers from:

-The United States (mah homies!)
-France
-Turkey
-The United Kingdom
-Russia
-Germany
-Ukraine
-Canada
-Poland

Reaction

*1250 page views! WOOOOOOOO! Thank all of you so much! This is amazing! So far we have had readers from over 10 different countries! Can you tell I'm excited? I should have some sort of celebration up soon!*

I came up with this during band.

Reaction

Two worlds collide
Dimensions crash
Twirling through each other

Each move choreographed
Like a deadly dance
Each more precise
Than the last

Like a racing horse
Destined to win
Chaos ensued

You may ask
What good can come of chaos?
But every action
Has an equal and opposite reaction

Oh Joy. Sickness.

To quote one of my favorite youtubers, danisnotonfire:
"Like, literally, some peasant sneezed on me in the subway and now I feel like death"

My condition in one quote. I've lost my voice, so if I do have to go to school I will tape a sign to my shirt that reads:
I've lost my voice. Can't find it. Deal with it.

I'm in the mood to post a cat photo.

My Idea Of a Story

I have an Atlanta trip in the works. But I'm lazy. See the original post on Doll Diaries here.

Theirs. Not Mine.

“Why am I holding the piece of junk again?” Susy asks, examining the plastic box that resembled a phone “It doesn’t even work.” She dropped the phone on the top of the table on which she was posed.
“C’mon Suz, let’s explore,” Maxine called, motioning to the unexplored room all around them   “It’ll clear your head.” Susy nodded kicking aside the imitation phone aside.
“Let’s go.” Suzy prepared to jump, readied at the edge of the desk
“ACHOO!” A large sneeze from behind Suzy startled her, sending her flying over the edge.   “Hey!” She cried from the floor. Maxine turned to see who the offender was. Grace, rubbing her red nose, her dog, Bonbon leaping on her chest, was laying on the desk next to the, now collapsed, background, which made the dreary desk look like a springtime park.
“Sorry, the roses made me sneeze. I thought Ms. Diana knew I was allergic.” She explained while trying to extract Bonbon from her chest. All the remaining dolls looked on the, somewhat ridiculous, scene and tried not to laugh.
“I’m sure she’ll realize now, now that you’ve made a mess of things” Alexis called from her perch at the cafe table. “I was pretending that I was actually at Paris instead of in this house in the middle of winter.”
“I’m sure Grace didn’t mean to.” Maxine replied, and then she noticed that one member of their group has yet to say anything. “What ate you thinking, Hannah? You’ve been rather quite.”
“I think we should help Suzy up from the floor. Or join her.” She said carefully
“My vote goes to the latter, Hannah! You should see what’s down here!” Suzy muffled cry came from the floor, obviously excited. The dolls helped Grace up from the pile of background, and one by one, carefully descended to the floor, paying no attention the the large mess they had left for Ms.Diana to clean up. No, none of their thoughts were devoted to this, instead they were devoted to exploring the large unexplored expanse of the human world.

Yeah, I'm weird.

Off To Atlanta!

Well, I'm not really leaving until tomorrow afternoon, but I'll be to lazy in the morning, and I'm getting picked up from school early. This is also my first photo on the blog. I'm not sure if this is a cause for celebration.

An Unexpected Trip

Guess what?

Chicken Butt

Anyway, in an epic Christmas morning, I received an unexpected gift from my dad......
A TRIP TO THE AMERICAN GIRL PLACE!
(I'll give you a minute to gasp in surprise)

I'm going at the end of January, and I had the option of bringing one doll. But who?

So... Who want's to go?
I'm out. I'm not even an American Girl doll.
It's either you or Caroline, Klare
I think the choice would be obvious
Really, Caroline? Do you have to volunteer yourself? You are always being the angel! The perfect child! Why don't you just give me a chance?
Klare...
What? Do you want to again prove yourself worthy?!
I was going to volunteer you.
Really?
You're the obvious choice. You've been here the longest and are loved the most.
You would really give up a trip to Atlanta just for me?
Of course. You deserve it.
YES!!!!!

On that happy note, I'll be going. I have homework to do, and I'm not in the  mood to do it in the morning.

New Family Additions

Hi, it's me again. So, it's after Christmas and we have a couple of new dolls roaming around. And guess what? Caroline adopted them without my consent! *grumbles*
Klare! Since when did I have to ask for your "consent". Just because you're are older doesn't mean your more responsible.
Yeah, I've kind of accepted that I'm a lazy butt.
Back on topic. SO now I'm  going to introduce..
  Tipi and Rahel!
Go away Caroline. I'm playing with Peaches.
Yeah Tipi's a real charmer....
MOOSE!
You know that's not very insulting
 Is it my turn yet?
Yes Rahel, go ahead
Hello, I'm Rahel, I enjoy reading, and I think Caroline is very responsible, Klare.
Caroline! Anajali took Peaches' moose!
I'll take your moose.........

Exciting News!

Hello my crew of invisible people, tumbleweed, and ghosts! As you can probably tell by the title, I am excited about something! For the first time ever (See how I avoided singing frozen songs there) we have an actual human being reading this blog! I find that awesome. Thank you Lola Miranda, you are

Anajali Najhi Jenkins

Wow, that's a ton of i's.

So, with the constant nagging in my brain, (I need to post, I neeed to post, I neeeeed to post) I decided to follow that sense of urgency, and get my lazy butt back on this blog. And I found something to post about! Yay!
I was at a yard sale yesterday and, while looking around the toy section, I spotted her. A H4H girl Najhi, in her leggings and a random green dress, with her hair pulled up into a high ponytail, looking at me with her (now purple) eyes. I snagged her for $2 and  for another $2, box with wooden doll furniture and a groovy girl couch. Score! I took her home, cleaned her up, and named her Anajhi Najhi Jenkins, adopted 5 1/2 year old sister of Klare and Caroline. She is now residing on the groovy girl couch, with her hair pulled into small braids, looking at me with her captivating purple eyes. So, another new addition to the doll's point of view.

Oh Middle School

I have some explaining to do.

Yeah, so school started a few days after my last post. I suddenly had to juggle different teachers, homework, and extra-curriculars (Girl Scouts, Dance, Quilting, Book Club). Welcome to middle school, peeps. Yeah, well Midterms came out last week, and I suddenly realized that I had abandoned my blog. Oh Crud. I was disappointing all my loyal fans consisting of  ghosts, tumbleweed, and invisible people.
Oh, and I thought I should clarify my dolls after their recent posts.(They are grouped by family)

    Klare- 18 inch- American Girl
    Caroline- 18 inch- American Girl

Katie - 18 inch- BFC Ink
      Bella- 15 inch- Disney Todller
      Elias- 21 inch- Karito Kid

     Sam- Our Generation Custom
     Mia-Our Generation

      Tess- Disney Animators Collection

      Keira- Make It Mine

That should clear  things up. Sorry about abandoning you. You can expect weekly posts.

                                                              Till Next Time,

My Thoughts on Beforever

(See, I told you I would post more often)

So, in my last post you heard the 16-18 inch doll's thoughts on Beforever. Now, it's my turn,

The whole idea of Beforever is a bit odd to me. I mean, why redesign the whole Historical line? And why are they retiring Cecile? Cecile is awesome! She was like, one of the the only AA dolls that there is! And I want her really badly!
Moving on from that, I really like Julie's new meet outfit. It suits her better than her current one. I will probably get it when dirt cheap pricing for it comes up on eBay. A (confirmed) rumor that has been floating around the dolliverse for a while is that Samantha's coming back. That news surprised me. When I got my first AG doll when I was 8, Samantha was already retired. I'll be interested to see her collection.  The new book series will be weird as well. I've already gotten used to the current type.
They're also retiring Ivy (Which I'm somewhat mad about), Ruthie (meh), and the NOLA collection. That's my lovely opinion. Thank you for listening in.
